COVID-19 Statement

Updated COVID-19 Statement issued 4/14/20 at 1:30PM:

We hope you are staying healthy and safe in this unprecedented time. Manic Presents / Premier Concerts are keeping the music community in our constant thoughts with hope that we can share unique live music experiences with you in the near future.

Due to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 7 regarding the prohibition to large gatherings, all events produced by Manic Presents / Premier Concerts have been impacted. All venues will remain closed until May 20 as outlined in the Governor’s Order and subject to ongoing reassessment.

This order has affected all March, April and May shows.

Once a show is postponed, the new date will be immediately noted on the website. All tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. Refunds will be available within 30 days of the postponement announcement.

Should a show be cancelled, it will be noted on the website and refunds will be available from point of purchase. Tickets purchased via credit card (whether online, in person or via phone) will automatically be refunded to the card you used to purchase tickets within 30 business days of the cancellation announcement.

For any refund requests, please email customersupport@manicpresents.com and provide your name, order #, and email you used to make your purchase.

Many of you have questions regarding how we are handling the postponement/cancellation process for upcoming shows in March, April and some affected dates in May.

Once we know a show is being postponed – it will immediately be noted on the website. When we get a new date for the show, it will be posted – and all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. Refunds will be available within 30 days of the postponement announcement.

We ain’t fooling around—We ain’t got time for that now.

Apologies to our friend, David Byrne, for paraphrasing this lyric, but we are taking the quickly spreading COVID-19 virus very seriously. As a venue which is all about NOT social distancing, we have implemented every measure and precaution possible to create an environment for our guests that is as safe as possible.

We are writing to give you an update on precautionary measures we are taking in light of the global spread of COVID-19 in order to ensure the safety of our audience, staff, and performing artists.

  • Restrooms, handrails, door handles, and other commonly used surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each show and periodically during each show.
  • Our staff has been asked to observe Center for Disease Control (CDC) personal health protocols and remain at home if they are feeling ill, or if they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • We ask any patron who may have been exposed to COVID-19, or who is exhibiting symptoms, to please stay home. These symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
  • Maintaining hand sanitizers to the best of our ability.

All upcoming concerts at Space Ballroom will take place as scheduled unless otherwise noticed. Further updates will be communicated via email as well as posted on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We remain committed to our mission of bringing world-class music to the Hamden area, and look forward to continuing to do so while also maintaining health and safety as our highest priorities.
